SOLD OUT! Anyone wish to cry along with me? :(

Well, congratulations to all those who were able to buy one of the 15K Palladium coins today! I lost out.
Cannot wait to see what they reach on the secondary market as big dealers are paying $300 to $400 over issue price already.
Thanks to the member who alerted me to try and get one. I hope you were successful!

I can't believe I got one, knew it was gonna be frantic and chaotic.
I just saw bids of +450 issue price.
No tears here, I passed.
Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Just kidding.
I was on this this thing like a crazed addict on a loose bag of Black Tar.
Wait 30 days, then buy at spot.
I'm glad the collecting community is that strong! It's good to know there are 15,000 collecting households for these
One just sold for $2000
There are several sold listings at $2000+.
LOL. Good for you. Nevertheless, this discussion is for those who lost out NOT the winners.
I hope "mine" went to a collector as I
planned to sell it as soon as I got it.
Crying with JOY
That was a sheer 30 seconds thrill .....

I'm expecting increased interest, so hold on to your sales receipt it could get crazy; blue sky breakout ahead. I was recommending stock AMD a month ago at $19, but no one listens....
Oops please accept my apolololololology @Insider2
Cut to the REAL stuff.
Did HANSEN get one?
..................or ALL ?
Glad you got one after waking up so early today1
Palladium? I thought that was a place people performed in Vegas
Call us "Deacon Blues"!

Missed it all together...oh well...next!

i didnt try and order any. i plump forgot about it, oh well move on i guess
I didn't want it; I didn't buy it.
I didn't want it either BUT A $300 to $400 IMMEDIATE (approx. 25%) PROFIT was powerful incentive for my to "play." What can I say? I have the greedy gene.
Did you try?
I liked the Kennedy Fiasco a lot more.
Not long ago I was in the scrum for these hot issues, but I have taken a step back from the US Mint. . I am not boycotting by any means, but I am starting to become indifferent to the next latest hottest thing.
I guess I need to start paying attention again....
Of course, it would help if I knew what the heck Palladium is. I assume it is silver colored, but does it tarnish, develop spots, etc.?
I didn't want it either.... but my click addiction got the best of me this morning. I got my order in at 12:02:15. From what I'm reading, sellout was in about 7 minutes. My motivation wasn't the flip at all but I'm happy a flip could take place for me. I'll probably keep this Coin forever. At the heart of it all, I'm a Collector.
I can try to beat that.....
Hoard the keys.
With 15 seconds of amusement?

I’ll go through this for hot concert tickets. Havnt ever tried for coins though.
Another JFK gold, just wait 3 months, below issue price
BHNC #203
I got 2 emails, one last night and one this morning from Provident offering $100 over cost to commit to send it to them in unopened original packaging. You order your 1, get your confirmation number and send it to them and they send you a prepaid shipping label that you put on the unopened box and when they get it they send you a check for cost plus $100. I guess they are planning to sell them for a lot more. I'm not interested and not that bad in need to tie up my money waiting for delivery and then shipping time to them and wait for the check to come back.
You may sell it to me for $200 over cost before Provident
Deleted comment....just learning the unspoken rule
You have got to be kidding. The 2017 uncirculated palladium raw in "BU" at Apmex is selling right now for $1,780, spot is $981, so $800 over spot after a full year and it is not even a proof!
My US Mint Commemorative Medal Set
15,000 collectors? No. 5,000 collectors and 10,000 speculators? Probably.
Last years bullion version is still way above issue price and you couldn't get one for even the proof version price. What makes you think this one will be different?
Maybe a bit longer than 30 days, but once the aftermarket feeding frenzy dies cooler heads will prevail. After all we are in a declining precious metals market. . . never a good time to become overstocked in flippables.

Low ball offer. However, if you know of a better way to tie your money up to make 25% profit (locked in/sure thing) in less than a month ...
This is how I felt this morning.
Hoard the keys.
History. There's can't be more than a handle of mint products over the last 10 years that sell for more than their issue price (raw). This one may be different, but the same cycle happens very time. Once prices start dropping in a few weeks it's game over for flippers.
I can already hear that blowhard coin guy with his ANACS PF70's puffing these coins. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME EVER THE US MINT HAS PRODUCED... YOU CAN'T GET THIS ANYWHERE! THEY SOLD OUT IN SECONDS! Any guesses on his asking price?
@Paradisefound at 6am rounding the corner!
I received an e-mail from Pinehurst Coins offering $225 plus the cost of the coin. This is getting interesting.
"never a good time to become overstocked in flippables"
Only this time you couldn't get overstocked with this offering due to the household limit.
I put out a offer for $300 over man I'm way to high now. I guess I'll just pay the one's that got in and kept there promise the $300 over.
Hoard the keys.
I bought it thinking the $100 Provident was promising was worth the risk, with all the ebay purchased I have lost money on, at least there is profit on a credit card transaction and 1.5% cash back.

Probably more like 1000 collectors and 14,000 flippers. Better make your money fast on this one.
15,000 examples of a useless metal, all in perfect condition. How does this differ from 15,000 beanie babies made of scrap cloth, all in perfect condition?
Such a great waste of resources that might otherwise be put into really nice, interesting US coins and medals, all accompanies by centuries of history.
