    @Smithtim28....Welcome aboard.... That is glue or varnish... submerge it in pure acetone for a while and it will come right off.... Cheers, RickO

    In general, when you see an oddity like this it is best to ask yourself how it could have occurred. Those who answered "glue" know from experience, but that is what you would end up with if you had to work through it with possible explanations.

    It is all a learning experience. :p
