I'm saving to attend the Philly ANA.
It'll be my first large show.
While there I hope to purchase a Motto Seated Dollar to finish my Dansco 7070.
It'll be Kraft mac-n-cheese for me after that.
"If I say something in the woods and my wife isn't there to hear it.....am I still wrong?"
I have been slowly stocking away money for over a decade in the hopes that eventually I'd have enough cash on hand to buy a key date in a higher grade in a series I collect should one ever come to market whose overall look I simply couldn't resist.
I found such a coin yesterday, negotiated the price down a bit, and then bought it! It should be in my possession by this time next week!
So yesterday was a very good day for me!
My current coin collecting interests are: (1) British coins 1838-1970 in XF-AU-UNC, (2) silver type coins in XF-AU with that classic medium gray coloration and exceptional eye appeal.

Lance.
The coin pictured is over 100K Lance? What the heck am I looking at 17/14?
Bingo.
They don't come to market very often. I had my chance a few years ago but couldn't come to grips with the price. It was a higher grade and more than twice as much. I passed. It sold quickly. Sigh.
Lance.
I chased one of those on an auction well past my wallet and thank god someone bought it. Those are very beautiful coins despite the "Colombian half expo" syndrome.
Right now I'm saving up for what I owe ebay at the end of the month.
I have been laying off buying coins and just sold two at nice profits. I hope soon to buy some more 65-6 walkers. Business is good so if it keeps up they'll be here sooner
My wants are modest. Trying to keep enough squirreled away to buy the needed OBW Roosie rolls should they become available. (See sig line)
Need the following OBW rolls to complete my 46-64 Roosevelt roll set: 1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S. Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!
I’ve been keeping my powder dry for that one thing that will flip my lid. Don’t know what it is yet, but when I see it I will know. I will buy it if it is not priced at moon. If it is, I will move on, as the intersection of WOW and “I can live with that” is out there and worth waiting for. Until then I’ll enjoy what I already have.
No, I'm retired and am in spending mode. Bought a 100k Jeep Trackhawk early this year and spent about that on coins too, but the year is only half over.
@CCGGG ...Nice choice.... I have several Colts... One is a custom (Mark Morris, Spokane)...and that one is awesome..... Just have heard so much about Ed Brown and Les Baer that I figured maybe one more custom gun....maybe. Cheers, RickO

I don't know a lot about Ed Brown but I'm very familiar with Les Baer's guns. Just never "pulled the trigger" on that yet.
@CCGGG ...Both are expensive....but their reputation intrigues me... Not sure they can be better than the custom I have... My ambition is to be able to shoot as well as that gun will allow me Cheers, RickO
No really, I am learning to do wet plate collodion photography, (Civil War and before era). To fix tintypes and ambrotypes many people use cyanide! There are more “modern” chemicals that are safer, but they’re not as good. I’ve been using them, but now it’s time to step it up.

Nice, I prefer Series 70 Gold Cup(s) myself, (see my icon) but that's not a bad choice either.
