Thanks all I thought maybe a MS65 But was happy it was not a MS63. Across the street I think it would rec a MS65. But that's just me dumb Type2 thinking.
Yes I did there is 4- in MS64 with this one, 1- in MS65 and 1-in MS66 That's ok I do very well on it when ever I sell. It was a good deal for both of us.
I didn't realize there was a 66. I thought there MIGHT be a 65 or two. I never cherried anything better than an XF, and that was back when few people were looking for the 2 feather stuff. I actually started paying attention to them in the mid '60s after I saw them listed in the old Spadone "Variety and Oddity" book.

OK, I have to admit, what is a 'two feather'?
Honestly I don't know...
When the obverse die is over-polished the lowest feather, the one the just peeks out behind the neck under the other two, is obliterated in the process leaving just the upper two.

I was going to guess higher with that blazing luster (or nice lighting and picture), but blowing pic up see some nicks on the face and weakness of strike in hair above the braids. awesome coin and wish I would have found it, but I guess you work lots harder looking for stuff like this.

MS-64+
Wow that was fast!
I'll say 64+
Looks to have a few too many marks for 5 but the luster appears outstanding!

I'll say 65.
I will guess 65. Nice coin.

.
why not. i’ll go 66.

I would hope it's properly attributed. That's the nicest one I've seen-might be the finest slabbed. I'd say at least a 65.
Love it. ms 64 ?
its the highest graded 1915 2 feather i have ever seen. Thanks for posting.

Go figure. This coin's grade fooled a lot of us "seasoned" Buffnix peeps. In retrospect, there is a lot of chatter and a ding on Iron Tail's cheek.
Kudo's to the commenter pointing out the "noise".

Well...slightly late... though, from the picture, it sure looked like a 65..... Still a very nice Buff... Congratulations.. Cheers, RickO
Man that luster should have pushed it to a + grade IMO. Are you sending it to CAC?

I am glad that it was attributed properly! Congrats on a beautiful Indian Head Nickel!

Whatever the number (64 in this case) it is one clean coin.
Sure looks better, Check the pops-it still might be the best one certified.

It still amazes me all the Varieties that you can find out there. Yes I would love to see that MS66 as well.

They're the obverse equivalent of the 3 and 3 1/2 legged varieties.
Wow, even I get one right sometimes.

I was going to say 64+ because they're tight right now.
I think it's a 5 in 4 clothes.
Yeh I see the nicks but that is a ton of blast for a 64
