    That date is not really as easy to find without problems as the mintage would suggest.
    These early halves were used hard in commerce.
    Nice-looking 17-S.

    At the risk of hijacking his thread, that's a tough coin to find circulated that has nice eye appeal. I have these 2. I prefer the general look of the vf30 for circulated Walkers

    Those 2 are beauties!
    Just how I like them too.
    95/100 are damaged or polished to hell in those grades.
    Why do so many people insist on scrubbing pre-1934 Walkers to death?
