    It is tough to grade Mint State and near Mint State coins when you can't see the luster first hand. This is especially true for a coin like this which appears to have its original surfaces.

    I see a rub or a disturbance on the high points of Ms. Liberty and on the rock and eagle's let on the reverse. I’m going to say AU-55 on this one. You should not dip this piece. I think that the originality could go a low way toward selling it.

    I say AU 58 just based on the photographs. I would also like to take a closer look at those lines in the right facing field. They look like toning streaks but I'm not sure what is underneath.

    Hard to judge luster from your photos, but it looks like a middle of the road AU coin to me.

    50 is my grade as well - too much wear, and not enough luster, to be higher....of course on a good day it could slip into a 53 holder I suppose....

    AU50... the obverse has considerable wear... The picture does not show any remaining luster and the scratches in the right field are distracting. Cheers, RickO

    The blackish on one of her high points is a turnoff for sure. au50 I expect.
