Just got the mail today and my new buff arrived. 1914 d. Hope you like it. 1st pic with my new SX530 HS Canon. I bought a macro lens for it, but it came in wrong so this is as good as I can get it now. Hopefully I will improve. I've had Mark Goodman's book for years, but didn't have a camera I could really use with it.

Is the picture color representative of how it looks in hand?
Just looking at the holder, the color balance looks off on the obverse and right on the reverse. Coin color looks the same. Odd.
The only reason for the yellow is the incandescent light bulbs. I got a lot to learn with the camera, no doubt. lol

Tough grade for a tough date.
I always found the price comparison for the beach mints of this year fascinating. The D mint is significantly more expensive than the S up through 63, despite having a higher mintage. After 64, the S mint takes off in price relative to the D mint.
