I see a lot of foreign which has less than 90% silver content....
One would have to investigate the content and weight of each type of coin to get a true measure of the amount of silver, not just weighing the mixed lot one time, IMO

you never know, some of the foreign in there could net you more $$. Keep us updated
Many members on this forum that now it cannot fit in my signature. Please ask for entire list.
From what I see at $14 oz I would pass. Most look Canadian .8 or foreign as low as .25 silver. Evaluate each coin before buying.
I even see some war nickels in there.
Fun to find when roll searching, but I would not want them showing up as filler in a bullion deal.
My guess is the seller knows exactly what he has and it is priced accordingly. It might still be a good deal, but there is no way to be sure without a count of specific coins.
For not much more you could buy 'junk' US coins pretty much guaranteed to be 71.5 oz troy.

Additionally, 3180 g = 102 troy ounces, not sure what methodology or calculations were done to get to 70 tr oz

Looks like super deal / about 85 pct melt. Don’t think it last long better jump on it! I just might beat ya to it.
Price at least 2-3x cost each.
Wb great improvement to my junk box!
Nope, to much random junk in the lot to pay good money on a picture.
Looks like trouble waiting to happen. The mixed percentages of silver will render the lot undesirable and cause it to be discounted more than normal. Pass.
Your just kidding right?

Way too many unknown...I rather spend it on A good Barber

The coins are not 100% pure silver.. 3180 is the weight of the silver plus whatever else the coins are made of.
If you want junk silver there are deals galore for all 90% US coins. No risk except the price of silver.
That is a gamble... there are better deals consisting of all U.S. coins which will not require the effort that this deal will entail.... and be readily liquid. Cheers, RickO
My guess is that the seller figures it is AVERAGE of 70% silver so the 102 is discounted to 70 tr oz for a melt value.
