I think it will look nicer in hand, toning should be nice. Typical weak strike as many have said here.
I have a 1944-S in PCGS MS66
From the picture it looks at least 65
The image's obverse toning is unattractive to me, but you need to see a toned coin in hand to make that decision. Pic of reverse's upper left quadrant is overexposed, so I can't comment the reverse. My gut is that it would grade MS 65 in today's market, as I don't see any hits on the sun and the skirt marks don't seem too deep or numerous.

If you don't mind spending just a few hundred more and don't mind an original white coin, I'd buy an old holder cac ms66 that has about the same detail on Liberty's hand but maybe a better strike on the reverse. (this coin can be found on Great Collections and yes my opinion is biased as I'm the seller. I have four 44-s halves, and had to let at least one of them go).

I like it. Decent toning with a typical strike. Luster looks great,

I myself would pass. Not a fan of the toning but the reverse looks good.
Typical weak strike.
I'm going to say beautiful coin because I think the toning is much better in hand.
Beautiful coin but you could find a better strike. Looks weak in my opinion, but it could just be the pictures.

64/65, weak strike as mentioned. I'm not a big fan of brownish toning; always reminds me of residue from an improper dip.
If you're looking for agreement, not opinion, then I'll say "great coin". Disregard my previous comments..

I do not care for the tarnish... but looks like a 64... Cheers, RickO

Can you post a link?
It has trueviews, why not look at those too?
Obv strike is pretty dang good for a 44-S, rev strike is probably the limiting factor. Luster on the 40s walkers is fantastic.
As far as the toning goes, you either like it, or don't. It does set it apart from the thousands of plain white ones.
