Not in that condition, IMO
Ty. Is it just a Grease filled die?
i have 1907 IHC that must be from the same grease-filled die. On my piece, which has considerably less wear than the piece shown here, the "7" is very prominent and the "1", "9" and "0" are all quite faint. I call it my lucky penny.
If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, it expects what never was and never will be.---Thomas Jefferson, 3rd President of the United States of America, 1801-1809. Jefferson was the primary author of the Declaration of Independence.
looks more like impact damage (PMD) than grease to me
All comments reflect the opinion of the author, even when irrefutably accurate.
I think it is PMD.... the one and seven are quite prominent and the central digits appear purposely defaced. JMO... Cheers, RickO
Just a cull Indian cent.
Looks PMD to me
Does this help?
