this is mine....

This original 20 lbs die cast 6 in 1 robot which I lost five years ago due to an unfortunate event. It costed around $100 in Japan back in 1980 and now worth around $5,000 if MIB.

Cool !!!
Pictures not of my toy, but remember well the joy I had as a 10 year old when I received this Paladin gun set. I wore the card out very quickly.

I had the same snake eye! It was the first GI Joe toy I ever pick from Toys'rUs in 1982?

no pictures, but there was this small train set I had that came with snap together plastic tracks and an engine with about 3-4 cars. it was packed up with all the Christmas decorations so I really only got to play with it for a few hours every year. it was the first thing I went after when the tree went up and the decorations came out, I'd play with it on the kitchen floor.
somewhere around 6-7-8 it was suddenly not interesting anymore. I wonder what happened to it.
I was a big fan. Never missed the show.
Years before offered in blue some cake company used to just include them in all yellow rubber. My aunt was involved with marketing & promotions once named Smurfs and I had over 200 of these as a kid as they had been popular in Europe over 40 years ago.
This one was my favorite...
When I was a very young boy my family was not into money. many toys and other things were homemade by great-grandpa or grandpa. one of these toys was a wooden rocking horse made by Grandpa many years before my time. The horse had an authentic horsehair tail and a mane of real hair. The horse was well used by myself and my dog (a mutt) riding it. every once in a while the horses tail and mane became too short to hold on to. It had that unavoidable hairloss that happens when it is constantly pulled (misused).
. he fixed it often with a new tail and hair.....quasi overnight.
but remember, there was grandpa
Sorry, have no image as the horse decided to stay in its stable when I grew up.
I guess it ended up in some stove as fire wood.

We need to see your toy
I'll have to go with Lego as they are my favorite toy as well as my daughter and sons favorite (non-Video) toy ....
very impressive and clever display
@ErrorsOnCoins
Thank you. These are actually "collectible" and some kinda rare.
Nice! Just wait 20 years and they will tone and full with dust
Behold my toys Shrine~ ( for another few weeks before I repaint the whole room pink and turn it into Ponyville /my little pony for my daughters)
"Nice! Just wait 20 years and they will tone and full with dust
"
They already are. The kids still "play" with them. My lego frame would be very cool in a glass cabinet, perhaps I will look into that. I am pretty sure these plastic pieces could be dusted off by washing in warm soapy water and a (distilled) water rinse with zero damage.
The youngest I can remember was a monkey with banana, boy I really liked him

Then as I got older it was a daisy air rifle, no pellets or bbs.

My favorite was an Intellivision Game Console. My dad actually played with me back in the day and his favorite was Poker, which was a game that was included in the box...I still owe him millions. My second would be a pair of milkbone underwear, so my dog would play with me.

Anyhow I always thought/remembered that video console as Colleco for some reasons.

Where was this when I was growing up? It's too late for my girls...possibly for my future grandkids.
My apologies for de-railing this thread.

Stef, I remember having one of those monkeys. Your picture jarred my memory.

Anyone old enough to remember the chemistry kits for kids that had uranium?
Or the herbalist cabinets with cannabis sativa?
Before my uncle left for Seattle, he had gone through all of the toy cabinet kits and took the sativa with him. 1949 they were old by then not sure who made or distributed.
GI Joe USS Flagg! I was the envy of every kid I knew. It was like becoming a celebrity overnight!
Robotech (anime tv series in the early 80's) I have a few in my collection somewhere in the house and still watch it when time permits at crakle tv for free.
Also Legos.
