GTG....With a twist(?) - Grades Posted

Went shopping at my favorite local coin shops, and brought home two Newps. And it so happens, they have the SAME GRADE.

So, if you are a Commemoratives person, grade the Iowa. If you are a Walker person, grade the Walker. (If you are well rounded, tell me why they should or shouldn't BE graded the same!) :)

(Not really happy with the pics....but I mentally committed to doing this post, so I'm going forward....Damn the torpedoes.....)

65, iowa has milky dip spots so I could see both being 64s because of that. But the wlh should be 65.

I like both at MS65. Nice luster, minimal marks and both well struck.

The pictures show few marks and nice coins. I'm thinking 66.

MS65 and luster... both appear to have light chatter, though that could be on the slabs...Cheers, RickO

Since it's fallen off of the first page...and I'll be busy this evening....here is the answer.

As for the "dip residue", "water spots", "whatever", on the Iowa, the first time I saw that was in my own picture. I can make it appear if I look at a very oblique angle, but otherwise...nothing. Think in hand it is hidden in the rather rustic surface of the Iowa(?)

Anyway, I really like these two pickups, and the fact that they were found locally. They are probably two of the cheaper MS-66 coins you can find in either series!

    Thanks for playing....
