Lots of abuse on the obverse.... strange for a reasonably clean reverse... Cheers, RickO

The obverse was ground into the pavement; the other side was face and didn''t.

Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

@BillJones.... No doubt you are correct... I find it remarkable, in this case, because usually the 'side up' sustains damage as well...and this reverse seems remarkably clean in that respect. Cheers, RickO

Those are some really clear pictures!

Need the following OBW rolls to complete my 46-64 Roosevelt roll set:
    1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S.
Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!

Looks like the pavement had some little rocks on it to boot. Proof coins aren't use to being treated like that. :oB)

Even the worst camera phone takes a somewhat reasonable pic and yet so many eBay sellers can't even post a picture 1/100th of that quality.

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

The phone? seems to take pretty decent pics. You should try it on something much harder to pic like a toned coin or something.

The camera is pretty good! I can see the ink details of your fake oak wood grain print.
