Smiley sticker on holder

I have quite a few coins in holder with this neon color smiley sticker.....It maybe a silly question but I need to know for sure if this is a "nothing" sticker before I peel them off.

    I've seen quite a few coins on ebay lately with that smiley sticker on the slab. No idea what company it is, I suspect it's just another gimmick like the cac and that pure white or whatever sticker. Crazy world we live in. Nice Peace BTW.

    Is that a "rare" label with the vertical line on the left? I suppose it's for alignment in the printer?

    That is a 'pink smiley approved' sticker. Some people feel more comfortable buying a coin that has been stickered and will pay a premium for them.

    I've seen all kind of stickers on slabs including those that came off bananas. I think in many instances they are mocking the CAC stickers and those that pay extra to buy them.

    That 1945 half dollar is really special. Not only has it won the CAC seal of approval but also the coveted Bullwinkle Award, which far more prestigious!

    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

    Those smiley stickers are nothing but humorous additions by someone mocking the sticker phenomena. That is a very nice Peace dollar though... Cheers, RickO
