The coin is in a PCGS 63 holder. I bought the coin from JJT many moons ago.

Not a Proof Barber Half like yours but this is at least a Barber.

    Best place to buy !

Here is the first PR Barber I ever bought, I bought it based off crappy seller pics (show below) with high expectations and was not disappointed! First two photos, second two are mine, and final is @jtlee321 .

I remember that Barber Half. It sure was a looker and a booger to shoot properly in that plastic. :)

Part of a 1913 Proof set I put together a few years ago. It's not beautiful, but it will do. I've found that these late date pieces seem to be harder to locate that the earlier dates.

Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

Same here. I wouldn’t mind a nice MS Barber half, either, as a type coin. Every time I see them at shows; I’m tempted to buy one. They aren’t getting any less expensive or easier to find. Maybe I will act soon.

Sometimes, it’s better to be LUCKY than good. 🍀 🍺👍

PCGS PR65. Used to be in a PCGS PR64 holder and has a cheek mark, but it's a real looker due to the toning.
