Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

I have lived through 25% of the history of US coinage!
Vote damn you

I did, but don't take the Villanova stampede out on me!
I thought you invented pomade. My bad
Yes I had nightmares of #10 last night thank you very much. The game was even worse in Spanish

If they shorten the games to 11 minutes you guys might be hoisting the trophy next year.
Hopefully some coin collecting hipsters will vote after last call. I know the elders will be rocking this poll at 6am. What time does Bill Knapps's open?

@Justacommeman
Is the latter part of baby boomers the majority? Interesting stat.
Thank you for the polling!
Voted..
I can't vote as it wouldn't be fair.... I change groups in 2 weeks....
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
You'd loose my vote...not a member at Instagram or face book and not likely to become one.
Of course you created the poll with actual and not maturity level ages - curses thee.
The results are starting to look like a nice bell curve.
See http://www.doubledimes.com for a free online reference for US twenty-cent pieces
After 60, the poll shows we're dying off...............thanks alot!!!
The more qualities observed in a coin, the more desirable that coin becomes!

There's a chunk of us in our 50's. That should bode well for this hobby wouldn't you say?

I collected a roll and a half of circulated 1960-D Small Dates once.
I knew it would happen.
Lucky you! My percentage in higher. Yet, I sill don't have an example of every U.S. coin. Fancy that.
My percentage relative to coinage of William the Conquer is lower. Now that I’m in my dotage and can’t comprehend numbers like I used to, that makes me feel better. When I start collecting Roman coins, I'll feel like new man!
I'm in...But I feel like I'm in my forties.
still waiting to be eligible for the 55 & over community

Well now... Interesting bell curve here...Although I expected it to peak beyond thirty, I thought it may be a bit heavier toward my end of the scale (70's)....Certainly Instagram would populate much younger....Cheers, RickO

Years ago a dealer told me that coin collecting is mostly a bunch of old men sending packages back and forth in the mail. His opinion, I don't know and don't wish to offend.

20’s. But only for 6 more months
Had this poll been done when I joined the forums in 2004 I would have answered 40s. Today I answered 60s. My how time flies
The demographics of a typical coin show would mirror the results here.
Hey! Used to eat at Bill’s when I was in my teens and twenties. Then they closed my local restaurant. I nearly cried. Best burgers especially with the chopped olives. Really miss those. The kids even liked going there for lunch. Yea, we were almost always the youngest there but......
Do they have delivery?
A: The year they spend more on their library than their coin collection.
A numismatist is judged more on the content of their library than the content of their cabinet.
Interesting poll but I'm getting too close to the wrong end of the tail.
We are up to 176 active voting members at this point, that's great

You sound just like my daughter did just before she turned 30.
