China’s out-of-control, defunct space station is hurtling toward Earth and currently expected to enter the atmosphere sometime in the next 24 hours.
The 8.5-ton space lab, known as Tiangong-1, is likely to burn up upon re-entry, which is expected to happen about 37 miles above ground, so it only poses a small risk to people and property.

I was hoping for a stray chunk in my backyard.... I was in the right zone... but it went down too far west for my area.... So, will have to wait for my 'fifteen minutes' of fame...

This sold on eBay, as well as others, for under $17!.
Not that this has anything to do with space. I’m just taking up some.
Heavy duty tin foil hat worked, no debris in my area, not one little speck. I laugh at the people who laughed at me about buying that hat, saying it was a total waste of money!
