Metal Porn: Show us your fat rolls!

WeissWeiss Posts: 9,942 ✭✭✭✭✭

Your rolls of fat silver, gold, or platinum family bullion! Or whatever you got this week, this year, or whatever makes your brain itch!

LOL. I've just been on a big Mexican silver kick for the last year or so. So much more interesting and exotic than Franklin halves or cull peace dollars.

Forgot that I picked these up a couple of days ago. Might as well share. Most of this stuff can be found pretty near melt if you look hard. Imagine how popular a US silver dollar would be if it had been made in the 1950s, and stated its weight in grams and its purity in thousandths? Especially if, like this one, it'd had a mintage of just 100,000 pieces, total?

No fat rolls at the moment, but the wife just brought this fat ticket home for me. She thought I'd get a kick out of it. Covers 4 metals! In less than a minute I doubled our money in platinum. :D

Perhaps if one is a bar collector, then I guess I can see a 100 oz. bar acquisition.... other than that, not for me. I prefer the more liquid ASE's...Cheers, RickO
