I found a melted SLQ once while metal detecting. I can only imagine it was the result of a long ago campfire. It took me while to figure out what it was, only after finding minute details with a magnifier.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
Having melted about a dozen SAEs it looks like coin silver melted down then struck with a hammer? The cracks make me think that, as well as the flat bottom and repeated outlines of a hammer blow.
If anyone wonders, I was making 1/4th oz dog tags for my friend’s dogs.

OOOOOOOOOkay.... Not sure what you are showing, beyond a lump of what may be silver.... Is it a melted coin? Cheers, RickO
