How cleaned/fake does this V nickel look?

If it's a counterfeit can someone please point out how? Is the color from remnants of a cleaning agent?
It appears to have been cleaned quite some time ago but is still a details 62... my guess on cleaning is because it should be dirtier or "older" for the amount of chatter on the bust.
Am I relatively close on either? I've been looking at MS samples and this is very very pretty.
The wear that travels from the B in liberty and down is what makes it a 55 or 58 but not MS right?
Any input totally appreciated. You folks are the best.

I don't see how anyone could be sure about grade or authenticity based on out of focus pictures, sorry.
1883 No Cents nickels are very common in unc. I see multiple sales of PCGS Unc examples on eBay for under $50. I assume this one is real since they are so common, but If you have any concerns, why risk it?
It came in a coin lot and I was going for 2 other pieces.
Wondering if there were any macroscopic things about this coin that would scream counterfeit and I was missing it. For what I paid I'm already up two free coins and twenty bucks if this was to go for 40. Not a ton of these have passed through my hands just trying to learn.
Looks ok to me as far as not being counterfeit
HAPPY COLLECTING
Very difficult to determine anything conclusive from those pictures....looks like a nice old V nickel.. that is the best I can offer. Cheers, RickO
Looks OK to me from here. If there's a tiny bit of wear on it as you say, then I'd say AU55 or 58.

I don't see anything that would make me think "counterfeit." As the brightness, there are a fair number of old nickels that have toned when they are in the Mint State grades. This one many have been dipped, but the pictures are not detailed enough to determine that.
Looks real clean compared to mine.
And mine is in plastic. And yes I am selling this dog in PCGS AU58 no spam. Just using these images to show what is needed on here to ask opinions on coins.
LindaDad, for what it's worth, and you can ignore me, but I think that coin might have PVC on it and might need to be conserved.
Old nickels can tone, but usualy it's due to the copper in the alloy (They are 75% copper and only 25% nickel) that tones from some improper mixing. Here is an example.
Are there really a lot of counterfeit nickels out there? From what I can tell, it does look like a high AU. Not a tough coin and as others have said, I'd go for one with no questions.

Pvc??
I have that coin listed as having PVC because of value it's not worth sending in for conservation starting bid is what postage cost me. According to the PCGS Price Guide it's only a $20.00 coin.
Let it grow .Maybe a lemon tree will emerge.:)
