Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?5

Hope the tragedy there in Florida doesn't put too much of a damper on the show. I am sure the organizers will find some way of providing support for the victims and their families.
I would love to go, but too much going on this weekend.

Show reports please.
Show report: We've had an excellent show. Mornings slow, afternoons busy, then dead. The dealers who stopped buy had mixed opinions - what else is new. I doubt any had a Great Show. Several have packed up and will not be here tomorrow. Apparently, the coin market is still very soft. All of the folks coming to the table are buying raw coins. I DICURAGE THIS as most don't know what they are doing. One bought a Mercury dime with "naked eye gouge on the rev and took it back for a refund.
Ed puts on a great show. Only thing he didn't have were DONUTS!
