Rare coin, zero feedback

This 1872--cc Seated $1 P-40 raises some flags with the account: https://www.ebay.com/itm/292431509180?_trksid=p2323012.m570.l5997&_trkparms=gh1g=I292431509180.N34.S2.R2.TR6
I asked him: "HI--I don't see any real feedback on your account for a long time now. How do we know that this is a legit. auction, etc.?"
"Hello My previous account was hacked and blocked, that`s why I had to use account of my wife. If you have any questions you may leave your phone number and I will call you back."
"Hi--this is a rare coin, you are selling nothing else? Oftentimes accounts get hijacked and then rare items get listed. How can people trust that is not the case here? Where did you get the coin?"

The person answering the question isn't going to answer your second one, or your phone call, honestly if they have hijacked the account. I'd pass.

Based on your comment, and selling on ebay for 19+ years, I would block you as being too much hassle with your in the face comments, and even if it is legit, a person who makes comments like that is probably going to be a problem child no matter what.
No feedback
Is this a Legit Auction
Selling nothing else
Hijacked
How can people Trust
and the best
Where did you get the coin?
Getting all up the person's face at this point.
You could have asked to see some more pictures, NICELY stating how you would like the picture (Black Background, etc). If the seller does not have the coin, no more pictures, move on.
I checked the BST, and did not find one person who listed where they got the coin. Do they all need to be called out also?
STAY AWAY!!!
I LOVE old coins.
Do not give them your phone number

There were a lot of red flags on the item, why I brought it to the attention of others here. I was not being unreasonable, apparently you were though.
I got this email from ebay security:
Hello *****
Our records show that you recently contacted or received messages from ashsilverwolf through eBay's messaging system. This account was recently found to have been accessed by an unauthorized third party, who may have used the account in an attempt to defraud other members.
We've taken action to restore this account to the original owner, but wanted to let you know to be suspicious of any communication you may have received from them. -- Safety Tips --
-- Don't respond to the sender, through either eBay or your email provider, if the message is an offer to buy or sell an item. This type of offer may be fraudulent, and the transaction won't be covered by eBay protection programs.
Real Second Chance Offers appear in My Messages with a blue background and subject that says, "eBay Second Chance Offer for Item...". Always check for both the blue background in My Messages and the subject line of "eBay Second Chance Offer for Item…" when responding to a Second Chance Offer.
-- Never pay for your eBay items using instant cash wire transfer services such as Western Union or MoneyGram. It is against eBay's Safe Payments Policy for a seller to request payment with these methods, as these types of payments are unsafe if you're paying someone you don't know.
-- If You've Already Sent Payment or Shipped an Item --
-- Contact the payment service you used to make the purchase. If you paid by credit card, most card issuers provide consumer protections in instances of online fraud.

Good job my friend.
I saw that one (one of my daily searches) and it immediately set off the "hijacked account" alarm. It is a familiar MO. Used to see these more often a few years ago. Glad to see it was pulled...

There's one guy with 0 feedback right now With "nyc" in his name posting pictures or coin lots on a red background. Some of the coins and other lots have the same coins in other listings. I was following him/her until I saw the same damaged 3 cent piece being sold. Dunno what to do.
I believe your questions were valid and justified. The ebay response, proving your suspicions, was impressive as well.... Thanks for bringing this to our attention..... Cheers, RickO
