Not the best pictures. I am not very talented photographically. This is officially my favorite item I own! It just arrived over the weekend. It is the famous Good for a Scent Civil War Token from Joseph H. Merriam of Boston. MA 115E-1a. It is graded PCGS MS 66 RB and is one of the finest known. It is from the collection of Q. David Bowers and he bought it from Steve Tanenbaum. I am very happy to have this as the current centerpiece of my Civil War Token Collection! A big thanks to Q. David Bowers and Christine Karstedt for making this happen.

That is a really nice token.... being a dog lover, I would like to have one of those... Have not really searched for one yet...a couple of other priorities. But soon...

Nice token, but it stinks,.......depending on whether the scent is what the dog picked up, or if it was what the dog smelled like after chasing down the scent....
