According to the initial press release, the answer would be no. However, in the vast bureaucratic miasma that we call government, someone may not have read the memo, someone does not care and put/left it on the dies, someone wants a few 'errors' to round out their bank account or someone just changed their mind. Maybe this is "random letter year" and some other letter will be put on the cent. OR maybe they will be personalized with your initials...?

I received one in circulation during the year, but then again I don't look at every Lincoln cent I receive. One of the guys at my local club gave me one when they were first issued.

Here in NY the 17-P cent are all over the place. I found hundreds of them. I don't even keep them anymore.

In Tulsa, just found my 1st and only one two weeks ago.
Unusual to see the "P" on the cent.
Will there be any 2018 Cents ?...we'll see.

We had them by the box at banks here for quite a while this year. I didn't even tuck a roll or two away as I usually do.

I would rather it was there. More interesting to me that way. I found my first 2017 P around March last year if my memory is correct. I didn't know it was coming, I was so out of the loop. It was quite a surprise to me.

I'm still waiting to get my first 2018 coin in change. I'm also still getting tons of 2017-P cents, from the merchants that don't round to the nearest nickel when they give me change.

This pas weekend, I had about 700 cents picked through, and about 400 more, when I accidentally mixed the two. So, I started over.

If they did it on cents, then the Mint could undercut the market for replacement Scrabble tiles, and they'd fit perfectly on the board.

Yes. They'll be the last to be issued, though. Should additional letters be added to the alphabet, (ñ or þ, for example), their respective coins will be added to the end of the series, and Dansco will have to issue an additional album page. The current legislation specifically states that digraphs will not be part of this series.
