You might want to check out eBay so you can see what most 1955 MS66RD lincoln cents are going for. In this case it worked out great for the seller which I'm all for.
@thebeav
Buy it now go for about 115.00 to 156.00. Auctions go for around 45.00 to 100.00...sometimes a little more or less. That's for brown, brown red or red.
Wow... that just does not seem right... I did not review the bid list, so can't say if there was any shill bidding. I cannot believe someone paying that much for a roll of cents... Unless there was a known, high value variety that was certain to be there... Cheers, RickO

That's crazy I'll just go to a B/M and buy some roll's for $20 or $30 bucks ea. 1969's 70's 72's are all cheap. $3 $4 a roll. I don't get it. The real winners are the one's that did not win the auction.

A few years ago I was able to search about 10 1969-S Lincoln rolls that my father had put away in the year of issue.
Needless to say, no doubled dies.
My Adolph A. Weinman signature

What do these rolls usually sell for ?
50 bucks ?

Too Funny... But could so be true!
The auction does not show up on eBay anymore, so most likely a cancelled transaction.
@SmithAuctionCo wouldn't surprise me in the least.
The auction is over. It's still in my ebay as auction ended... so I believe it's legit.

Hoard the keys.
Does the seller live in Boston or own a cigarette vending machine company?
