Good deal? 1902-O Ms 64 PCGS rattler

Paid $85 for this rattler today and the coin shop is going to get it CAC for me no extra charge so it's basically included in the $85. Looks like a fantastic coin IMO, the rattler is in great condition as well. This will be my first CAC and rattler coin! The guy who is getting it CAC said definitely a green sticker and maybe a chance at gold. Thoughts on this? Do you think it could go higher than 64 if I ever wanted to get it re graded? Which I probably wouldn't but still curious. Should be a nice addition to my small collection at a fair price!

Looks good to me.
Wouldn't be surprised to see a gold bean on that one.
Looks nice enough.
I don't think it will go much higher than 64 but deserves a green been imho.
That old holder adds some charm, as well.

Looks like a 64 to me!
There is nothing that screams gold CAC sticker about the coin, in my opinion, but I am simply going by the images. It looks like a nice piece and you paid a fair price.

Yea it was hard to take pictures, bad lighting, some scratches on the rattler that show up as on the coin. Should have CAC results in 3ish weeks or so. Just glad I was able to find a good deal on a nice Morgan in a rattler! Can anyone identify any VAMs for this?
PCGS POP [if accurate] shows 6,737 graded 64 and CAC has 143 with green bean. Hard to make a compelling case to spend $15 plus postage to add one more.
Strong ms64, outside chance at a 65.

Nice!
It looks like a solid 64 all day, I don't see an upgrade. The seller obviously is virtually certain it will get the green bean. They are probably right. I love nice rattlers.
No chance at a gold and I would be surprised to see it get any CAC sticker. A nice honest coin, but not sure how your coin dealer can guarantee a sticker unless he is putting them on himself.
For the Fun of the Hobby...give it a go...nice Dollar...

I think you did just fine but I don't see a gold sticker, just a green.
A very common coin that is properly graded as a 64. Is this a good time to be adding common coins to your collection? Think about it.
Hmm for those that disagree what would you have paid?
i wouldn’t count on a bean of any color but will probably green

Nice coin but don't count your beans before they sprout.

I have 8 morgans, all in old holders, they all beaned. HST, they were in-hand selected and I passed on alot of old holdered examples that are still in their original holders for a reason so the in-hand inspection or high quality images is a must. Yours looks strong 64 all the way, good eye, should bean for sure.
Best, SH
A very nice 64.... could get a green bean....Solid price.... I would not have gone that high, but it is not unreasonable...Enjoy it.... Cheers, RickO
It's a nice coin and the rattler is a plus.

Thanks for the input everyone! I forgot to mention he would have sold me the coin for $70ish but he was very confident on it upgrading to a 65. He's a good friend of mine and has guessed many many grades including my two pawn shop finds. I trust him but it should be very interesting to see what comes back from Cac. Good learning experience! I'm not very good grading coins when it's the difference between the next ms grade.
Good price for a bog-standard MS-64.
Nice 64.should bean, but not good, as many have said.
Sweet, congratulations !!!!
