Very nice and excellent picture... Bet the previous owners were happy .... for the money... ;) Cheers, RickO

Win/win deals are the best...... People who are not knowledgeable about coins and put in a position where they must sell them (i.e. inheritance etc.), are not always happy with the information when they are told their 'coins' are fairly common and not in the best of condition. "Well, we cleaned them up as best we could.".....Glad your situation worked out well. Cheers, RickO

Didn't realize the 'premium' for good ol' "Hot Lips" was that much! What are you grading it?

(I've got a lowly VG floating around here that I figured was maybe $100!)

Nice pick up FTB and it's nice to hear how honest you were with the seller of the lot of coins that you got from the person. Hope you have a Very Merry Christmas!

Your honesty is commendable but for a VG-08 or 10, I hope you didn't pay more than a couple of extra bucks! They are not really worth the grading fee.

The Hot Lips and the shifted eagle are my favorites. The shifted eagle is the tougher of the two, but the Hot Lips... Well that says it all. Well done

Nice. The hot lips in lower grades is kinda common. AU it starts getting pricy and only a handful are known in MS. Leroy Van Allen had a 61 PL. If there is one Morgan I'd like to have that is on the short list. You can view it on the VW page.

    The more you VAM..
  • good find the fading on it looks so satisfying.

    I LOVE old coins.
