I would but my cell phone and PC are not cooperating.

I will say that the fanciest really well made pen I received from a dealer in Germany ran out of ink in record speed.

My favorite pens are the triangular shaped ones Northeast Numismatics hands out at shows.

Pens from the (now departed) coin dealer couple Fred & Linda Lee, of Quincy, IL:

    They are sadly missed!

I have one of those German pens too! I may post photo later.

I have no coin dealer pens....or paraphernalia .....Other than business cards and occasionally hard candy, I have never seen gratuities at dealer tables... or shops. I feel deprived... :'( Cheers, RickO

Yeah the DLRC barber mouse pad was very attractive.

If you're from Massachusetts, it's pronounced "Quin-zee", out there I think it's pronounced "Quin-cee". Just though I'd interject.
I only have some from Dominion.

DLRC Mouse pad as well. Lots of their pens. They sent them out with each order when they offered a grading service. Great outfit.

You mean like Mont Blanc or Waterman writing instruments (I hear they're not called pens) lifted from well-dressed dealers in the carpeted part of the bourse?

A nice looking German pen from KUNKER, Munzauktionen.

One of their representatives handed it to me with a great polite gentlemanly flourish at Rosemont a few years ago.

Why is it that spellchecker has NO problem with the word "Munzauktionen" but always questions the word "of"?

    @pmac

On the bluffs of the Mississippi River, they call it "Quin-cee" or "Quin-see".

No "zee" sound in the nasal midwestern twang.

Many of the major Quincy, IL streets have New England or English geographical place names - thus "Main" Street becomes "Maine" Street as shown on the pen.

    My two cents worth:

    Great Collections have the best
    pens (blue). Dark Ink, good
    impression on paper, etc.

Ian knows I love his Pens !!

Stacks sent out a really beautiful set of wood pens a couple years ago, custom engraved with my name on it and a nice letter opener. I hate being swayed by swag but it actually did result in me purchasing one fairly expensive coin from them a couple months later: I wouldn't have looked through the catalog otherwise. Kudos to their marketing department!

If I ever have any pens made, the first line will be "Stolen from".

The best pen I ever stole was from the Grand Californian at Disneyland. For what they charge, it should have been a gold Cross pen and pencil set, but I digress...

Best I have in numis are a couple of Apmex post-it note pads...

I have never kept the ball point pens. But I have a remote cell phone charger from Eagle Eye that is way more useful.

But I still have Mont Blanc fountain pen from older days when I wanted to look important and successful........

Ii still have hopes for my single boxed sealed unopened US Mint bags from whenever ( last century?). Does anyone remember those? When the US Mint is finally sold off to Pobjoy or the Royal Canadian Mint, surely those Bags will be precious.

I don't shop any dealers that have pens . If they could afford to make pens the spread would be too high.

I have a nice pen on my desk from Coins+ in Cincinnati, but perhaps the most interesting promotional giveaway I have is a thumb drive disguised to look like a small gold bar, from APMEX.

So that’s where my pen went!

Q: When does a collector become a numismatist?

A: The year they spend more on their library than their coin collection.

I only have one coin dealer pen. Unfortunately the name of the dealer is obscured by a large mustard stain so I don't know who it is. Lemme see if I can wipe off this crusty yellow stuff and I'll get back to you.

My current coin collecting interests are: (1) British coins 1838-1970 in XF-AU-UNC, (2) silver type coins in XF-AU with that classic medium gray coloration and exceptional eye appeal.

The best magnifier I've ever had was given out at as SWAG about 10 or so years ago by RM Smythe & Co auctions at the TNA show in Ft Worth. I managed to get a couple and still have both. They're lighted, around 5X magnification, with a large, very clear field of view.

Smythe was acquired by Spink shortly thereafter. I've found their sales to be hit or miss, They're big in Europe but could never quite attract the quality consignments necessary to break into the big time here stateside.
