PCGS Restoration service

We all have them 50's 60's proof sets with that thick milky haze, has anyone had luck with PCGS conservation with these. I have quite a few DDR & DDO franklins And Quarters that would be amazing with out this crud on them some even CAMEO.I have tried acetone with no luck and would rather not try anything else and have PCGS do it. Otherwise I would just submit them as they are any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanx as always

Save the money...$30min per coin plus $10 evaluation fee plus 1% of the coins value plus grading fees. These coins just aren't worth the investment and you may be best to leave them as is or talk with someone comfortable with dipping them.

thanks,I thought the total fee was 2% of final value of coin if they restore it ($30 min) or just a straight 10 bucks if they feel its non worthy

Significant investment without much guarantee of return... Better to sell the set and purchase the coin(s) already slabbed - that you like. Cheers, RickO
