Since I pay little heed to slabs, I will have to check my old ANACS slabs... there could be a low number there... not likely though, whenever I go on one of these 'searches', I come up empty.... one day though... Cheers, RickO
I was opposed to slabbing coins in plastic. Still am.

Tom, were you still grading at ANA/Anacs during the plastic era?
No. I would never allow it.

Heritage. I was about to let it pass then noticed the 4 digits.
Wow. Very cool.
Like a new checking account, could the first number have been 1000? Surely ANACS wouldn't have started at "1".
Lance.
Maybe CaptHenway was the grader. Hope that he weighs in.
I have a couple old ANACS holders with letters in front of a four digit number. Examples: EXnnnn and LOnnnn.
Anybody know where they fit in the ANACS timeline (maybe relative to the OP's coin)?
Do the prefix letters mean anything?

The low number adds extra coolness to IMO the best coin slab ever.
To me that is the only slab that doesn't detract from whatever coin is inside it.
I like the small, white ANACS holders!

Not the best depiction of what it must look like in good light at different angles. Though, I can see it in my mind.
