    @ricko I didn’t want you to have to take out your loop. Lol. But for a circulation find I was surprised. Have not seen many looking this nice in a bag of .35 cent buffalo’s.

    Too much wear. Looks closer to XF-40 than to MS-60. So XF-45/AU-50 is a good range.

    For others to reply you should remove "ANSWERED."

    50 I think? Not great with Buffs. Maybe cleaned given streaks in the field and the shine on the high points

    It is such a common date coin that there is little to no price difference from an EF to AU

    My opinion would be XF40 unless a late die state AU50. These coins were usually well struck but the dies were used way to long, according to David W. Lange in his Complete Guide to Buffalo Nickels book.

    XF40.... good pictures.... maybe 45 in hand.... magnification can be detrimental... Cheers, RickO

    While virtually all of the original mint luster may be gone [it appears there is still some left in the junction between the field and design elements - check out the mint luster remaining around "Of AME"] there is luster all over the coin's image.

    Check out this thread and enter the contest: "Define the word "luster." Which of these images shows "luster."
