Walker Proof Digital Album Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
Only buy AUs...since I can't afford them, you won't be competing with me. Actually I can afford some, but not 200, 300 or more. After all, it IS an addiction.
The Capped bust half series is beyond ugly, horribly made (look at all those mistakes) and really not worth the bother. You really should find another series.
Great to have you on board, Larry! I must say I'm not surprised. You have terrific taste, a good eye, and lots of experience with busties.
What a beautiful example, too...the 1820 O.108. It is a Class IV doubled die. Not shelf doubling...true hub doubling. The reverse WD was slightly offset during its second hub impression, leaving visible doubling on the left wing, talons, claws, leaves, berries and arrow heads.
Lance.
I have always enjoyed having a piece of John Reich's original die work in my collection. This is the 1807 "50 or 20" variety which is fairly common. The "5" was first punched upsidedown.

Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
A truly great series in terms of the potential beauty of an original coin, be it circulated or Mint State. The character of a clash-marked and/or "crusty" VF or XF can not be beaten, IMHO.
Great pictures, everyone! Love the close-up, @lkeigwin
God bless you and your friend (s). ... this series reminds me of the Eagle’s song Hotel California. You know that line : “you can check out any time you like, but....” ?

That looks like a really strong 53.
Wish all my 53's looked like that.
Actually it was this one.

Very nice. I just picked up my first one myself.
Check out my iPhone app SlabReader!
Very nice 1820 O-108 Larry, congrats on a great pick up!
Tough year, with the 3rd lowest montage in the CBH series, behind the 1815/2 and 1807.
Enjoy the hunt!
Dave

So you really want us to believe your friend is to blame for turning you into a Chubby Coin Chaser?

I would be of no help with your addiction. At best, I'm an enabler.
