    Don't know what this thing is but it is not a cent. It says 1/000. ;)

    Since it a "1/000" piece, it value is "undefined." ;)

    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

    I have never had a "super" example of this type, but these two pieces are nice.

    Old copper is great.... just imagine when a cent had real purchasing power.....In my lifetime, the last remaining thing you could buy for a cent was a penny candy....do not recall anything else... comic books were ten cents. Cheers, RickO
