New Error Morgan Dollar back from grading!
Here is the Morgan I just got back from my last submission. It's an error, 1921 Struck Thru Obverse. It graded just as expected, MS62.

Fantastic! Note the type of original luster inside the error is different.

nice, but how is it a 62?
How can they grade that obverse?
or just use the reverse? Which looks far nicer than 62.

Perhaps because the coin's Eye Appeal is only "generally acceptable."
Nice. Even being a 21 (errors abound) this one should command a decent premium for a greaser. The "wow" factor is there
Easily. Just like any other. Determine the amount of surface contact marks to assign numerical grade. However with this one the reverse was used to determine MS from AU. I agree with 62.
Very nice indeed. Congrats on the pick up!
Why not? The grade of 62 is correct and obvious. It's not bad enough for a 61 and not good enough for a 63.
Nice!
Sweet !!!
Neat coin....Helps you imagine what a Morgan would look like with no obverse lettering.
Thanks everyone! I really like this piece too!
I also agree with the 62 grade. I think they used the reverse and what ever was left on the obverse.
Neat error.... I agree with the grade, though that is really secondary in this case....Cheers, RickO
That's a nice one!

I see your point but I would pay more for a 63-64 over a 60-62. And I would pay more for a 65 and beyond (generally speaking) than a 63-64. So does grade matter, yes.
