My Seated Dimes have been sold to Rick Snow of Eagle Eye Rare Coin. Plus filled hole in the Merc set

In the deal I aquired the 1919 DDO PCGS XF45....the finest know for this variety.

    Life throws us curveballs that's for sure and I'm truly sorry to see those Seateds go away. I can only imagine the hundreds if not thousands of hrs that went into finding those varieties. I hope you feel good about your deal.

    I'd do a filler just to complete while saving money for a high grade one.

    I'm sure it was hard to let the seated dimes go, but maybe it was an easier pill to swallow acquiring the 1919ddo as part of the deal.

    I think Dimeman did very well in this deal. He got basically what these would have brought at auction without the 10% or 20% the auction companies siphon off. Also, he knew what he needed to make the deal work. Auctions sometimes disappoint, and you cant go back after the fact and complain when you don't get what you wanted.
