Varieties Are The Spice Of LIFE and Thanks to Those who teach us what to search For.
Life throws us curveballs that's for sure and I'm truly sorry to see those Seateds go away. I can only imagine the hundreds if not thousands of hrs that went into finding those varieties. I hope you feel good about your deal.
I wish you the best of luck on your dime set.
Talk to ya soon.
Later, Paul.
I knew it was only a matter of time

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
Now all you need is a 16-d to have the set complete.

Those are everywhere......all you need is money.
I'd do a filler just to complete while saving money for a high grade one.

Nice!
I'm sure it was hard to let the seated dimes go, but maybe it was an easier pill to swallow acquiring the 1919ddo as part of the deal.
You'll always be the "Dimeman" around here!
Congratulations

Sooooo, is Rick now going to become the new DIMEMAN?
I just sent him some IHC proofs that are available for purchase......but now that you have drained his bank account, what can I say.....
Thanks.
I think Dimeman did very well in this deal. He got basically what these would have brought at auction without the 10% or 20% the auction companies siphon off. Also, he knew what he needed to make the deal work. Auctions sometimes disappoint, and you cant go back after the fact and complain when you don't get what you wanted.
I haven't seen the collection yet, as I am off at the Hawaii show and won't see them until Monday or Tuesday.
So when will the "Famous Dimeman Seated Dimes" become available for viewing/purchasing?
Later, Paul.
