Katy Texas but not for long. My wife retires next May and we are getting ready to build a smaller but nice home near Kerrville Texas. We are going from the concrete jungle to the prettiest part of the state and I am counting down the days. We did not flood but life near Houston is too hectic and was so before the hurricane. I can't take the humidity and traffic any more.
I'm a Native Californian, originally from the Central Coast of California (Pismo Beach, all of my family lives there so I am there quite often and always wish I still lived there, hopefully one day when my wife retires from her career)
Now live in this hell hole called Southern Calif, Orange County (someone said that WE like to think that we are different than L.A., no, we ARE different than LA! lol)

There is a great place for Italian subs in Medford....I forget the name....i think it is Bobs..

I think I will try to get there next week if work permits
I lived my entire life in the S and SW suburbs of Chicago, until a month ago. I jumped across the border to Indiana. I'll save 5000 a year living here, at least.
I got ' Illi- nnoyed'. No tax on coins but everything else in the state is a wreck.

Congrats on getting out. I'm still stuck here for a while before I can become a tax refugee.
Need the following OBW rolls to complete my 46-64 Roosevelt roll set: 1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S. Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!

Good one! Will stop by and say hi when I come to Indiana to buy groceries, booze and gas.
Congrats on getting out. I'm still stuck here for a while before I can become a tax refugee.
Thank you, its a longer commute, but worth it. We got lucky with a property just over the border. I hope, somehow, they keep the tax- happy people at bay until you can get out.

I'm probably looking at you right now, and if you can see the Hudson Highlands, you are probably looking at me.
Slide Mtn. is at the center and the Hunter area is to the right. The early morning fog is sitting over the Hudson River. The mountains are about 50-60 miles away.
