    yes, we have a world and ancients forum (ancients thrown in with them. I don't see any ancients in your lot)

    I wonder if you have much in the way of pocket change in that lot. that Canada looks current, I'll bet that Asian one (possibly cambodia or myanmar?) with the temple is current but I don't know, that lietuva and Indonesia might be current. "connect with an aquarius" is going to be a token not a coin. the 1 rupee 1988 and 25 1964 might be current and they look like they are from the Pakistan-India-Bangladeh-Nearby countries but I'm not sure.

    The temple is 10 baht from Thailand. Many of these have the name of the country right on them....

    Common coins typical of what tourists collect as souvenirs. Borrow a Krause guide from the local library and have fun identifying these.

    common "junk box" coins. Fun to collect if you like foreign, no real value. I've got 30 pounds of World Mix that looks like that that I will end up selling for $6 to $7 per POUND...that's weight, not English currency. :smile:

    What I don't understand is why you do not take the time and have the initiative to look them up yourself. These are all easy to find on ebay. I for one will not be your resource. You need to put some effort into this.

    The Spanish coin with General Franco has been demonetized. It says, "Francisco Franco, Lord and Protector of Spain by the Grace of God" on the obverse. It's probably either a duro (5 peseta) or 10 peseta coin.

    When I first started out with foreign coins, I went to my local library and looked them up in the Krauses they had on hand. It was a great learning experience & even helped me focus on areas I might be interested in. If you just want to collect them & are not overly-concerned about up-to-date values (which Krause can be suspect on anyway), I'd suggest you look on Amazon for earlier but still recent editions of their annual catalogs at very cheap prices. Good luck!
