It still amazes me that these get out of the Mint.... I know, bags of coins, lunch boxes etc.... I wonder how many bags one would have to search to find this.... OK... one bag.... However, I doubt such errors show up very frequently ...maybe one out of a thousand bags....I think the midnight shift theory is more likely... Cheers, RickO

I don't collect errors, but from what I understand, the grade is secondary to the type of error.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
