Seller refuses to take a look at his coins.....
I was polite and encouraging that he take them to a coin shop.....nah
So, posting here for you to send a note if you would. Perhaps we can make a difference.
I believe all his coins are fake and maybe even his PAMP gold.

I don't care for the image quality and I don't agree with the grades, but there's nothing I see that screams FAKE. We need some Morgan Dollar experts to chime in.
I do not know if it is the picture quality or the coin.... but I do not like it..cannot point to specifics beyond the image of Liberty being 'mushy' and the eagle looks off... could be just my imagination... Cheers, RickO
Doesn't look fake to me. I think it's AU though.
Well, for one: This reverse was never used in CC in '78.

I don't know about the pamp gold but the CC Morgan's are fake.
There you go!
78 cc definitely fake
The 1878-CC Morgan in this thread is definitely fake from the images. In my opinion, if someone has a significant number of fakes and refuses help then they already know what they have.
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
Fake, and easy to spot at that!

Looks fake to me too.

My digital cameo album 1950-64 Cameos - take a look!
Besides that fact that his 1878-CC could not possibly have the reverse depicted in the images? It's a reverse of '79, take a look at the arrows. Also the MM is not the same style as '78, the CC is too large.
78-cc is definitely fake. As others have said the reverse doesn't match and the coin looks mushy and poorly made

If fake he knows that and resents your horning in. He may remove them for awhile till u go away, etc.
This definitely example reason one should shy away from raw material over ones risk limit, etc. Especialy if it does not look real!
Why does it seem that coins & electronics/cameras being sold together is always a bad combo?
Don't we just love those CC's from China, anyone that buys raw these days better be very brave.
