That's as old as I am...so I'll just post a coin that is one year older than me.
I was excited to find this VDB in a roll when I was about 7 years old (a lot more than 30 years ago).

I bought a circulated roll of these in 1965, had this one from the roll graded several years ago.

Started my medical residency in 1979 and with a whopping salary of $19.000 a year..... I now had spare cash that reawakened my childhood interest in collecting.....bought this "gem" from the late Chip Gambino at the Westchester show and later had it slabbed.

The only silver dollar my Grandmother had and got it from her Mom. She showed it to me when I was 9 or 10 and I begged and begged for it! She finally told me I could have it when she dies. I told her that I didn't want it then. :'(

Anyhow, one of MINE was a 1908-S.
I diligently rubbed it with ...DRY BAKING SODA.... every time it got greenish.
Then about 15 years ago I sent it to ANACS.

From my metal detecting days as an 18 year old kid, 34 years ago. I never really checked what the dates are on these coins. I think I separated the wheaties into the plastic bag. There is some silver down in there also. Some Indian's. I tried to give them to my daughter a while back, when she turned 18, and she handed them right back!
The original dirt remains undisturbed.

2x Lincoln cents - 1911 S (MS with hints of red) and 1914 D (XF40 ANACS slabbed).
I have so many coins I've owned for 30 years that I'd fill up a lot of the available space. I bought this piece in the mid 1970s.
This 1800 Silver Dollar was the first early dollar that I ever purchased. I bought this in 1983 at a coin show in Minneapolis. It is graded PCGS XF45.
