Ok I looked up what you said and find it hard for someone to put the reverse of the penny over lincolns face after minting so pmd is out of the question
A vise would have similar results. But who knows what happened.

Yeah I just read about that and that is what it is the lettering is backwards so makes since. Just sad how people damage coins
Two coins in a vise will do the same but I'd prefer better pics without the glare to be able to tell. PMD = post mint damage. IMHO = In my humble opinion.

Yes, glue on both sides. On the obverse the reverse image is only on the glue, not the coin.
