Hard to guage authenticity from the pics provided.....looks OK....AU50, possibly wiped/cleaned
Scratch in obverse field. Pass.
If it is real it currently contains $156 in gold. I would probably buy it.

I don't think that this coin is worth anything over melt given the obverse scratch and dull surfaces. For only a bit more money, you could buy a decent collector grade piece.
Genuine, EF-45. I like the look of it as a "dirty" un-cleaned original.
The so-called "scratch" is pretty minor. I've seen a lot worse on higher-graded coins and nobody seems to mind then. Depending on how deep it is, it may be more of a stain than a scratch.
Anyway, not too bad a deal at $185. I'd be at $170 maybe.
Hard to tell from photos but looks OK and XF45 maybe AUish. Keep in mind that these are frequently counterfeited and deserves a good look in hand. Even if counterfeit it is probably gold and as stated above would melt around $156.
