It's probably more like an MS-64 if it has not had something done to it to make it brighter. The photo you superimposed over the picture of the slab does not help us grade the coin. Sometimes the photos of the whole slab with the actual coin shown provide a useful view.

In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

I see it as more of an attractive 64 coin. Not to say it couldn't go MS65. Identifying marks and field chatter with those photos is not easy.

Don't know but if it looks as good as the images it's a very nice piece.

Coins with toning are very difficult to grade from a photo. The toning will hide grade effecting defects based upon the angle of the photo. From the photo of your coin I think MS65 is maximum.

Might be a 65 if those aren't scratches on the eagle's breast.

63 or 64 for me. Can't tell if it's PL. Plain old cell phone shot would help.

No. The hits in front of the eye, to the right of the eye and the cheek dig reduce this common date coin to MS 64.

    I like the coin
Hard grading from a photo, but it looks like it could go MS66PL.
the cheek looks rounded and min marks.
