Yes, I feel like Neo in The Matrix dodging CAC bullets woven within the fabric of most every thread no matter how benign the title. Even Glicker's Milk Spot thread felt like a trap.

A panhandler to a Hollywood actress on the street. "I haven't eaten in 3 days."
A unique Royal "Newp" that is entirely ineligible for JA's stickers ---
I say "Royal," as it spent its lifetime of some 170 years plus in the holdings of an European Royal family, until it came up for auction and found its way to my collection.
Ohhhh. Tell me more! Did that NEWP come with a reverse? I give it a green with envy sticker

The piece did not come with a reverse -- it's just flat metal. The obverse is quite interesting though, as the design is incused into the metal, so that it can be used as a seal or a die. I would say it was patterned after the 1792 Bell Metal Liberte Francoise medal:
The Royal family that owned it traces its heritage from the present day, with an unbroken lineage back to around the year 1000! How's that for a family tree?
LOVE. Thanks for the lesson. It's a beast and the backstory is priceless.

A while back, I was in Tunisia, and I commented to my guide about the BTR-90 we had just passed, and the fact they had added a 7.62 machine gun on top, with live rounds visible, and a couple other things. He had been in the Tunisian Army and I had been in the US Army Rangers. He asked if I was comfortable around weapons, etc., as our guard had an AKM-S on his shoulder. I told him I was fine with them. A short time later, he smiled, pressed a little Russian P-96 pistol in my hand, and told me just to give it back when I left.
Anyway I know it had you thinking of your heart's true calling
I'm sure both Jacques and Léopold would jump all over the chance to contribute weiner medals for the proper gap.

How dare someone interfere with your peaceful view of the ocean by photobombing your picture!! Since this is supposed to be a numismatic-related forum, I covered the "offender" with something more appropriate -- a Sand Dollar!
I'm back to real world. Actually not really as I live in LA. Anyways this CAC detox seems to be be taking root. I don't feel like jammimg a number 2 pencil in my ear as much when I scroll the forum.
@cardinal the two pieces you posted are dream coins to me. I've looked at them at least 62 times. I look forward to seeing them in person one day soon

Using high tech secret government alien software that analyzes reflections from the ocean water drops, I was able to calculate the face of the "photobombing" chick.
There is a possibility that some slight errors were introduced in the result. Hey, I'm also available for similarly accurate coin photography.

Unfortunately, you got the wrong chick's reflection. You should have factored in the angle of the sun which caused the reflection of the unattractive woman hidden from your view (behind the palm) to shift and appear to be the reflection of the "Babe." Note the different hair style. Attention to detail is very important in numismatics.

It is one of the mysteries of the universe how the meaning little green sticker simply cannot be understood by so many, even a decade in.
I admire your resolve. Stay strong. I predict any urge to imbibe will be completely gone in a month or so.
