Was there for a while this afternoon. Fortunately, I was able to hire a local Sherpa guide to lead the way through ice, falling rocks, and a physician's convention to lot viewing, and to the distant #500-series meeting rooms - which are really in Boulder, Colorado.
Will spend most of Wed at the Sudman Lectures
Overrated show with high cost
I will be there, sitting in a motel north of town after a quick 700 mile drive. Not sure why it decided to change my yes to no.
Would have loved to have made it. Work stood in the way

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
The show was very subdued today.

Would very much enjoy being there but unable to make the trip from Florida at this time.
I will be there tommorrow (Wednesday) for a few hours. Looking forward to it.

Hope to see some detailed show reports.... including precious metal sales status... market has been 'relatively' stable for a while, however, I think some things are 'cooking' and we may see some moves. Cheers, RickO
Was there yesterday afternoon. Will have a show report at some point, took a couple photos. Probably going over tomorrow just for the Liberty Seated Coin Club meeting.
Quick preview: compared to my first ANA in Chicago in 2014, the bourse floor felt light at 1:30 when I entered. Had no trouble walking up to PCGS to drop off a few coins for grading and to another dealer to consign a few coins for auction. All in all it felt calm and while there certainly was activity, I didn't feel a "buzz." Early dealer responses were that it was going ok so far, with lots of dealer to dealer activity.
I stayed away from the Mint but folks were hauling those sets away by the case.
Gonna get me a $50 Octagonal someday. Some. Day.
May wear my new PCGS shirt, tomorrow. Probably won't get a "You Suck" but i might look official.

Now, a view from across from the convention center.
May post a coin later, or photos of some interesting people walking around the streets of Denver. This place rocks.
Also , there are ten thousand brown wheat cents plus in bags that I don't feel like searching through, and recently purchased from an estate.

The show improved dramatically today, and although there weren't a ton of people on the floor, those who were seemed to be buying.
