Date night with your coins~

Do you have particular day that you like to break them out and "ogle" them :D
For me, it's usually a Friday evening maybe once or twice a month and of course when something new arrives.

    First thing that popped into my head;

Been one tough week, dead on my feet
But, I've made plans for tonight
When I'm feeling blue, know just what to do
And how to make it right
Seems like I've needed this forever
Gonna have myself a night to remember

Dim the lights, lock the door
Spread your pictures on the floor
Throw the dust off of our past
Let it all come floodin' back
Cause' it ain't easy being strong
And when I can't forget your gone I just surrender
And have myself a night to remember.

Since most of my coins live in a "prison cell" away form home I spend my time looking at their photos.

I'm new and just got back to coin collecting, so I look at my few coins at least once or twice a week. There's no particular day or night of the week.

Nah, I prefer the coffee table. Not as much bounce and won't lose them in the sheets!

    Just about every night.

In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

I take them out and rub them all over my body at least once a day.

Remind me to sterilize your coins, if I buy them.

I have an assortment of raw gold in my desk.
They're in flips in Crown Royal bags.
I look at them once a month or so.

I do not have a specific day or time I tend to do it. In the summer it ends up being pretty much whenever.

My coins love me more than my wife. They're cheaper to take care of too.

I have no specific time or day that I view my coins... often I pull some out due to a posting here on the forum. I keep all my coins at home (security is top notch). When I add something, I usually look at others in that genre... if none, I end up looking at my others that are singular in nature. Anytime is a good time... At least I do not have to clean them as is necessary with my firearms. :D Cheers, RickO

I like to sneak up on them and catch them by surprise.
    It's exciting that way. :/
