Please grade this large cent...

Its in my Dansco 7070. Please guess the grade and whether you think its too porous to grade at PCGS or not. Sorry for the bad photo.

XF details, cleaned. There may have been visible corrosion on the surfaces at one time.
The color looks odd and the surfaces look extremely chippy yet smoothed over. My gut feel is that would get a genuine details holder.

I agree with Tom and 291 - technical XF detail, but surface issues.
On the bright side, it's a date you don't often see in XF and up.
Its a dark chocolte brown. The photo is terrible and does not show true color and surfaces. I dont think its been cleaned but it is porous from old corrosion. It came from aN old details graded ANACS slab noting corosion. It was VF35 details.
I agree with what the ANACS slab said.

VF 35 / XF 40, if it grades.
Others are correct to point out the pitting on that coin as problematic as far as the TPGs are concerned.
Regardless, it's a neat and attractive coin for a date that's not too easy to find nice.
The sharpness grade is VF-35, commercial EF-40. I think that piece has been striped and skillfully recolored with perhaps some corrosion lifted when you see the rough spots. The piece has good eye appeal nevertheless and is good for a Dansco collection.
If the color really is dark brown, you might adjust it. On my software there is a place where you adjust that by moving the cursor toward incandescent lighting. My photos tend to be too yellow, which what I think your are seeing here.
Nice old cent... but, as noted above, likely details grad....good for an album though... Cheers, RickO
