False, False and False

How do you make at least three factual errors in such a short description?

h-56 1792 Liverpool Condor Token. U.S. Colonial Circulating coinage. These were some of the first coins brought to circulate in the new colonies of the US.

1) Condor tokens were made after the US colonial period.

2) They generally were not brought to the US to circulate.

3) The US did not have new colonies during the late 18th and early 19th centuries.

Yes, but the three false statements might make the item easier to sell at a higher price. That's why you do the research before you bid or buy.

They are also known as Conder tokens, not Condor tokens; unless perhaps a large bird is using them.

Is the seller a "condor" of some sort -- awaiting the next brain-dead buyer to have his bones picked clean? :)

OK, I guess "Condor" makes four mistakes, and I picked up his spelling error.

I love the condor going after the wolf. Does that really happen or is it just Photoshop?

Appears to be an Andean condor "chasing" a North American gray wolf, so it's probably not real. Condor wing span is about 9-10-feet.

I'm still trying to figure out if it's a BU Morgan, a silver bar, a BU Half Dollar, or gold.

Well, at least the sale price of $12.50 is fitting. Which begs the question: Was the errant hyperbole worth the return ?
