the "magic" metal

well this is interesting.... hearing the pitch these days is that this "magic" metal is so rare, and no new discoveries lately and that the demand is huge and not enough supply ... that it will soon be rarer than gold etc... what metal is it you ask? .... Zinc

    There are barkers out there saying the same thing about silver. Someday silver will go to $2,000 an ounce they say.

    Sure it will when a loaf of bread goes for $1,500, and when that happens the country will be in the "Hunger Games" mode.

    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

    To be honest, I see silver as an important element in green energy. Although solar energy stocks are down recently, solar panels do use lot of silver. Who know what the future hold?

    Silver has a lot of applications... and I do think it will rise in value, though I seriously doubt that it will hit the values those hucksters on TV are predicting. The anti-bacterial property alone is spurring use in garments now... That being said, the supply is more than adequate at this point... Cheers, RickO
